Phoenix Cyber Delivers Rapid Application Modernization in Short Timeframe for Federal Agency

The Challenge

The Federal Agency’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) faced a significant challenge with three critical legacy applications used for tracking whistleblower submissions, criminal investigations, and trade security checks. These applications were running on outdated operating systems, making them difficult to maintain and prone to numerous bugs and errors. Additionally, the systems contained highly sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) with complex security requirements and stored over 100,000 attachments. With a looming compliance deadline just months away, the Agency struggled to find a vendor capable of migrating these applications in time.

Phoenix Cyber was entrusted by the Agency to handle the migration of these applications within an eight-month timeframe. Leveraging their technical expertise, the Phoenix Cyber team quickly conducted a thorough analysis of the databases and reviewed the existing codebases of the legacy applications.
