Phoenix Cybersecurity to Present the Basics of a SOAR Modular App Framework at RSA Conference 2019
“Addressing SOAR Spots: Turning Pain into Gain” Presentation Hosted in Swimlane Booth #567
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Mar. 1, 2019 – Phoenix Cybersecurity was invited to present in the Swimlane booth (#567) during RSA Conference 2019 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on Tuesday, March 5th and Wednesday, March 6th. Phoenix Cybersecurity’s Matt Rodriguez, Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, will deliver “Addressing SOAR Spots: Turning Pain into Gain” each day. During the short 10-minute presentation, he will discuss how a SOAR Modular App Framework leverages the strengths of an entire security operations team to improve efficiencies, produce automated workflows faster and reduce workflow maintenance.
Matt will describe how security analysts, security engineers, and security operations management will assume ownership of the workflow modules that align with their role on the security operations team. He will walk through the workflow steps and then demonstrate how the process would look within the Swimlane platform. Improving the SecOps team efficiency with SOAR and a Modular App Framework will allow security analysts to perform more threat hunting activities and fewer administrative tasks.
“Security Orchestration, Automation and Response platforms, like Swimlane, are helping security operations teams become more efficient by converting their playbooks into automated workflows,” said Brian Kafenbaum, Managing Partner of Phoenix Cybersecurity. “What we are doing with the development of a SOAR Module App Framework is making the process of building and managing the apps and workflows more efficient, so the security engineers can quickly make workflow modifications to keep up with the SecOps team’s discovery of new threats.”
Matt is scheduled to present:
- Tuesday, March 5th at 3:05 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 6th at 1:05 p.m.
All presentations are held in the Swimlane Booth Theater (South Hall, Booth #567). The Phoenix Cybersecurity team will be on hand for questions following the presentation.
